Presentation - Co-designing a practice model with Health and Social Care Partnerships
We will be joined by Rachel Dowle, Head of Strategic Design for the Office of the Chief Designer, Scottish Government and her colleague Anna Henderson, Lead Service Designer.
They will talk about building co-design maturity within Scottish Government and beyond, through the ‘Getting It Right for Everyone’ project – creating the conditions by supporting teams to work with their communities and staff. They will give examples of tools including user journey maps and how they have used them.
The Office of the Chief Designer works across the public sector to ensure:
- the people of Scotland, including the people who need and deliver public services, are partners in designing them
- public services meet people’s needs, respect their human rights, support equalities and are inclusive, usable and accessible,
- everyone understands how to ensure co-design is successful for everyone involved
- design is a routine part of the ‘toolkit’ of government and the public sector
Design Sprints - from the theory to practice
The HIS service designers will introduce the topic of design sprints and then we will split into breakout rooms to discuss experiences and challenges with sprints.
There will be time to ask questions of our speakers and have discussions with other participants during the event.
