Presentation - Implementing Service Design in Scottish Local Government

We will be joined by Synnøve Frøiland, service designer at the Digital Office, who will share what she has learned from working towards implementing the Scottish Approach to Service Design (SAtSD) in local government.

Synnøve will talk about the work that has been done so far and how they concluded that one solution does not fit all, due to the councils being at different stages of implementing service design.
It will explain why and how they are using the maturity matrix from the SAtSD to tailor support.

Resource package - Ethical Considerations for User Research and Service Design

The HIS service designers will share a resource package, comprising a range of tools, checklists and guidance.
We hope to get your input into this toolkit, which will soon be made available on the online resource.

These Trust cards from the resource package will be used in the breakout room activity during the event.

There will be time to ask questions of our speaker and have discussions with other participants during the event. We will be hosting the event on Microsoft Teams and using Slido as part of the conversation.
