QI Connect with Sir Tim Smit

In this session, Sir Tim Smit will challenge us to think about how we might re-imagine health and care systems to deliver sustainable change. What might be possible if we are empowered to develop new systems driven primarily by the needs of those who use the services? He will draw on the success of other health services and systems to highlight what might be possible.

Sir Tim Smit is Executive Vice-Chair and Co-founder of the award-winning Eden Project near St Austell in Cornwall. The project seeks to change people’s perception of the potential for and the application of science, by communicating and interpreting scientific concepts through the use of art, drama and storytelling. It demonstrates that sustainability is about good business practice and the citizenship values of the future.

We hope you will join us for what should be an interesting and thought-provoking session.
