National launch of the Herbert Protocol September 2021: We hosted the national launch of the Herbert Protocol on 1 September with 570 attendees from across the health, social care, Police Scotland and the third sector. The aim was to share the protocol that focuses on people living with dementia who may be at risk of going missing and raise awareness of completing this form in advance so that significant information is recorded and readily available for the police. Continue reading...

Dementia Practitioners network event February 2020: We hosted an event on 27 February at Stirling Court Hotel with 134 attendees from across health, social care and the third sector. The aim was to update on national programmes of work, share learning and best practice through organised workshops and provide networking opportunities for staff working directly with people with dementia and carers either in hospital or community based settings. The event also included a pre-consultation exercise to develop Scotland’s 4th National Dementia Strategy. Continue reading...
