Action plans
These action plans provide an example of an overall review of the community equipment service model, as well as a shortened example specifically for a review of children’s equipment provision. CESIF Community Equipment Service Review Action Plan

CESIF X Partnership Children's Equipment Action Plan

This presentation, which can be used to begin discussions with key stakeholders around a service review, highlights the opportunities and key principles.

Example Presentation

The purpose of the joint protocol is to ensure a robust and consistent approach to both the assessment of need and prescription of equipment, simplifying service pathways across service, agency and geographical boundaries. This example has been developed by seven Health and Social Care Partnerships and includes the standardised roles and responsibilities for the provision of a wide range of equipment in different service settings across all care groups.
