Working with Alcohol and Drug Partnerships (ADPs) to spread redesign pathways into, through and out of residential rehabilitation to improve the long term health outcomes for people who seek recovery from addiction

Scotland has the highest levels of drug related deaths in Europe. The national mission to reduce drug deaths, launched in January 2021, aims to save and improve lives through driving change in drug and alcohol services in Scotland. One of the ways in which this aim will be achieved is through increased capacity in and use of residential rehabilitation.

Support for Alcohol and Drug Partnerships

We work in partnership with ADPs to:

  • bring together experts in experience and delivery
  • understand the journeys that people take to abstinence-based recovery
  • transform pathways into, through and out of residential rehabilitation, and
  • ensure equitable access to effective, appropriate, person-centred, quality care and aftercare solutions.
