Practice Administrative Staff Collaborative Phase 2

The aim of Practice Administrative Staff Collaborative (PASC) Phase 2 is to support practice administrative staff to develop their quality improvement (QI) skills while improving key GP practice processes to improve outcomes and care experience for people, families and staff.

What is PASC Phase 2?

The Primary Care Improvement Portfolio is recruiting Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs) across Scotland to support up to 200 GP practices to adopt the learning from PASC Phase 1 in relation to workflow optimisation and care navigation through the use of QI and patient engagement tools and methods.

What are the requirements to join PASC Phase 2?

Participating GP practices will be required to attend the learning sessions listed below, adopt and spread the learning and share their progress. GP practices who take part will receive funding to support team participation and attendance at these sessions.

  • commitment and support for the project at executive level
  • significant HSCP support
  • participation of up to eight GP practice teams to be part of the collaborative and plans for involving patient representatives

Please note: we are also currently recruiting for the Pharmacotherapy Level 1 collaborative. GP practices should only apply to take part in one of these collaboratives. HSCPs should take a coordinated approach to the recruitment of participating GP practices.

We are also working collaboratively with our Living Well in Communities Portfolio. We will take a coordinated approach to supporting HSCPs and practices who are interested in participating in our Living and Dying Well with Frailty Collaborative.
