- Why leadership and culture is important
Promoting a ‘just culture’ of safety at all levels incorporates several elements: focusing on staff wellbeing and psychological safety can increase the degree to which staff feel accepted, respected and valued. This should be supported by the creation of a system for organisational learning, to accelerate the sharing of learning and improvement work from all safety events. Staff are encouraged to reflect and to learn from best practice.
