Patient safety within primary care isn’t always as safe as you might think. Implementing this workstream within your practice involves the whole practice team raising awareness of the role they each play in improving patient safety.

  • General Practice Safety Checklist (MoRISS Tool) (Available on TURAS) - This comprehensive checklist, developed in association with NES and tested by GP teams in NHS Ayrshire & Arran, allows practices to take a systems-based approach to related monitoring, learning and improvement.
