Presentation - Implementing Service Design in Scottish Local Government

We were joined by Synnøve Frøiland, service designer at the Digital Office, who  shared what she has learned from working towards implementing the Scottish Approach to Service Design (SAtSD) in local government.

Synnøve talked about the work that has been done so far and how they concluded that one solution does not fit all, due to the councils being at different stages of implementing service design. She explained why and how they are using the maturity matrix from the SAtSD to tailor support.

Resource package - Ethical Considerations for User Research and Service Design

HIS service designer advisor Chamithri Greru talked about a resource package which is being developed, comprising a range of tools, checklists and guidance. The community were split into breakout rooms to discuss the Trust cards from the package.
