The New Models for Learning Disability Day Support Collaborative National team are pleased to share a preliminary evidence summary for the Collaborative.

Prepared by our Evidence & Evaluation for Improvement Team (EEvIT), the summary draws on literature and evidence that will support local project teams to examine their own services.

We posed two questions in conducting this piece of work:

  • What are the different models of day support services and their outcomes for people with a mild to moderate learning disability?

  • How do user and carer perspectives inform models of support and their outcomes?
