Our fourth MAT Standards Learning System webinar, held on 1 September 2023, was hosted by Ruth Robin, portfolio lead for Transformation and Improvements in Drugs, Alcohol and Housing. The session focused on collaboration including working across multiple partners and overcoming issues of data sharing and during it we heard from:

  • Stephanie Stewart, Senior Improvement Advisor, Transformation and Improvement in Drugs, Alcohol and Housing (TIDAH), Healthcare Improvement Scotland with a program update on the HIS MAT Standards work so far and a note on the incorporation of collaborative working.
  • John Thayers, Research and Quality Improvement Officer, Midlothian & East Lothian Drugs And Alcohol Partnership (MELDAP); Bob McConnell, Assistant Manager, Laura Fearn, Business Support Manager, Mid and East Lothian Drugs (MELD) discussing the Telephone Contact Service and Single Point of Entry.
  • Elyse Mackinnon, Winter Project Manager, Glasgow City Mission on the running of the Overnight Welcome Centre and Information Sharing with Multiple Partners.
