A new range of tools and resources are available to help GPs implement the Scottish Government’s Improving Together: A National Framework for Quality and GP Clusters in Scotland.

Last year, the Scottish Government launched the Framework which complements the development of the Scottish national GP contract.

The ihub’s Primary Care portfolio co-produced the online portal, in collaboration with key stakeholders and our national partner organisations. The portal is designed to help GPs implement the new framework by providing information in the following areas;

• Data and Health Intelligence,
• Leadership,
• Quality Improvement,
• Facilitation, and
• Evidence and Evaluation.

Jill Gillies, ihub’s portfolio lead for Primary Care said:

"This portal has been created to support GPs in their Cluster and Primary Care quality improvement initiatives and service redesign programmes. I very much intend that the portal will be a live area and new resources and tools will be added, including useful case studies which will help spread improvement work across Scotland."
