Rapid delivery of new antenatal education website | from NHS Tayside

With parent education and feeding groups currently suspended, antenatal staff are not able to provide their usual face-to-face support for expectant mothers and their partners. To fill this educational gap, three midwives at NHS Tayside developed an antenatal website in less than three weeks.

The site provides support and prepares parents to be for labour, birth and the early days of parenting. It includes videos of local professionals and links to local support and advice.

Senior Midwife, Iona Duckett said, "There are sections on birth planning, infant care, pregnancy, labour and infant feeding – everything and more that we would have covered in our classes."
