Virtual support for young and isolated mums | from The Family Nurse Partnership, NHS Grampian

The Family Nurse Partnership is a home visiting programme for first-time young mums and families.

With visiting restricted to just urgent cases, such as newborn babies or child protection, the service is using FaceTime to connect with families instead. Some young mums have little or no family support and live on their own, so continued FaceTime contact offers essential guidance and reassurance to mums who may be experiencing loneliness and isolation.
